Accreditation details

Schedule number to be added
A valid certificate issued under the accreditation of an IAF MLA signatory can be transferred following a pre-transfer review, in accordance with IAF MD 2. The review confirms the status and scope of the certificate, the findings of the most recent audits and any open nonconformities.
Once the transfer decision has been made, GQCL issues its own certificate, and your existing cycle continues with the next scheduled surveillance or recertification audit.
What you receive
A GQCL certificate continuing your current cycle, issued following an independent transfer decision.
What is covered
The same defined steps apply to every engagement, confirmed with you before work begins.
A review of your documented system, site conditions and readiness, confirming the scope and plan for Stage 2.
An on-site evaluation of how effectively your management system is implemented in practice.
An independent certification decision, followed by annual surveillance audits throughout the three-year cycle.
No. Only valid accredited certificates can be transferred. A suspended certificate must first be restored by the issuing body, otherwise a new initial certification is required.
You will receive a GQCL certificate number. The expiry date of the current cycle normally remains the same, as the transfer continues your existing cycle.
The pre-transfer review is normally a document review. It may include a visit where the review identifies concerns or where information is incomplete. The next audit then follows your existing programme.
Any open major nonconformity must be closed before the transfer can be completed. Open minor nonconformities are carried forward, and their corrective action plans are verified at the next audit.
