Accreditation details

Schedule No. 0826002B
A personnel certificate is valid for the period defined by the scheme, normally three years. To maintain it, the certified person confirms each year that they continue to practise and to observe the code of conduct, records continuing professional development and applies for renewal before expiry.
Where the requirements are not met, the certificate may be suspended and, if the matter is not resolved within the set period, withdrawn. The current status of every certificate is shown in the public register.
What you receive
A current certificate and register entry, renewed without re-examination when the renewal requirements are met.
What is covered
The same defined steps apply to every engagement, confirmed with you before work begins.
Education, experience and prerequisites are reviewed against the scheme requirements.
A structured, impartial examination of knowledge and, where the scheme requires, practical competence.
An independent decision, a certificate valid for the scheme period, and renewal through continuing professional development.
Structured training, conferences, audits or assessments performed, teaching and other professional activities relevant to the scheme. Each scheme defines the eligible activities and the minimum hours for each level.
The certificate expires and is shown as expired in the register. Depending on the scheme rules, you may apply for reinstatement within a defined period or be required to re-sit the examination.
Yes. A certificate may be suspended for failure to meet the maintenance requirements, a substantiated complaint, a breach of the code of conduct or misuse of the certificate. During suspension the certificate must not be used.
